Taylor Clyne was one of the founders of Boulder, Colorado based Small Axe Concerts, a boutique promotion company that produced concerts with name acts such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Wu Tang Clan, 311, Jimmy Cliff, Korn and Megadeth. In 1996, Taylor co-founded Which? Records, releasing music from acts such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Meatmen, No Use For A Name, Murphy’s Law, Shining Path (featuring members of Bad Brains and Dog Eat Dog) and (alluding to his future with GAMMON and Johnston), the outsider music compilation, Songs in the Key of Z.
